Tripping the fuck out? Yes, indeed! Manta Monsta’ is the solo project headed up by one the most talented musicians I’ve heard. As in ever heard, and this shit used to be my job. Inside heavy, sluggish, stoned waves of white noise (apparently noise can be stoned?) and schizophrenic word-salad, you find, nestled, some disturbingly dissonant harmonies with some surprisingly satisfying melodies. His hallmark is seems to be using *highly* experimental song structures to deconstruct the notion of a “pop song gem” (and trust me, they are gems). I don’t promote music anymore, but Mantra Monsta’ is fucking good. 

The B.S. EP is free for the time being. Give it a couple listens.
